INSURANCE POLICY

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

All vehicles include a standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which covers damage to the exterior of the vehicle and glass breakage (windscreen). This policy protects renters against fire, theft, and third-party claims for death, injury, or property damage.

Important: The CDW does not cover mechanical parts, the underbody, the interior, or the wheels/tyres.

In the event of damage or an accident under the CDW, the renter is responsible for the following excess amounts:

  • Group A: €600.00

  • Group B: €700.00

  • Group C: €900.00

  • SUV Models: €1,200.00

Full Damage Waiver (FDW)

Renters may choose to upgrade to a Full Damage Waiver (FDW) at the start of the rental period for comprehensive protection. By selecting the FDW, the liability (excess) for all vehicle categories is minimised to €300.00.

Daily Rates for FDW:

  • Group A: €8.00 per day

  • Group B & C: €10.00 per day
  • SUV Models: €12.00 per day
Insurance does not cover damage to the car's tyres, interior parts, or underneath.

Exclusions to Insurance Coverage

  • Specific Areas: Damage to the car's interior, mechanical parts, wheels/tyres, or the underbody.

  • Negligence: Failure to park and lock the car securely or illegal parking.

  • Off-road Driving: Damage resulting from driving on roads unsuitable for the vehicle.

  • Substance Abuse: Accidents caused while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Unauthorised Drivers: Use of the vehicle by individuals not listed in the rental agreement.

  • Traffic Violations: Failure to adhere to Greek traffic regulations.

Accident – Renter’s Obligations

In case of an accident, the renter must immediately stop the vehicle and contact our company

If another vehicle is involved, it is mandatory to record its license plate number and report the incident to the Traffic Police.

If these actions are not carried out, the renter will be fully responsible for all damages, regardless of the type of insurance chosen, and will also be charged for the days the vehicle remains in the repair shop.
