By using our website, you fully accept these Terms of Our Rental. Completing a reservation with drivelinerentals.gr means that you, the tenant have agreed and accepted all the terms of our site, therefore all information must be
read and understood thoroughly.

We have the right to modify these terms at any time. drivelinerentals.gr is committed to ensuring that the information you provide while making a reservation is secured.

While making a reservation, your personal information is required for the process of the reservation (name, surname, telephone number, credit card details, e-mail address, home address, country of origin, postal code and
date of birth). By submitting the reservation you agree for the use of this information to be used to complete your booking.

The customer commits to not allow any person to drive the vehicle beyond the persons appearing as drivers in the Rental Agreement signed. In any other case he will be held liable for any damage to the vehicle or to third parties in
such case.

The rental day is calculated on a 24-hour basis, with a grace period of 1 hour after the declared time of return or receipt of the car. In case of delayed return, more than 1 hour, then another rental day is charged. The company reserves the right -depending on the availability- to provide a different type of car from the original booking with another one similar or a better class.

The driver must hold a license for at least one year. His driving license must be either Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for non-EU countries).

Delivery and return of vehicles takes place at Chania airport, Souda port or any place after agreement with the company.

Transportation outside of Crete is not allowed.

Upon receipt of the car it is necessary to present a Driver’s License, Passport or Identity card and a valid Credit Card. Please note that the tenant’s name must be the same on every needed document.

The tenant and driver must be over 21 years of age. The driver must hold a license for at least one year.

The minimum rental at RentCar.gr is 1 (one) day rental.

Refunds can be made in case of cancellation of the reservation within 14 days before the reservation. If the vehicle is returned earlier than the scheduled date and time, no refund will be made.

The tenant must return the vehicle to the agreed location and date as specified in the Rental Agreement. If the vehicle is returned to a different location there is an additional cost and is made by arrangement.

Customers receive the rental vehicle described in the Lease Agreement in perfect working order, with all its documents, tires, tools and accessories, and undertake to take care of them. Also, customers must respect and drive according to the Road Traffic Code (KOK) that applies in Greece. By signing the Lease Agreement, customers accept the terms and conditions of rent as defined by drivelinerentals.gr. In case of an accident, the tenant is obliged to immediately inform drivelinerentals.gr and to immediately notify the Traffic Police and the Insurance Company.

Child seats are available upon request for all ages according to weight as well as a Specialized Navigation System upon request both with additional charges. Due to insurance policy, it is the tenant’s obligation to place the seat in the car.

Note: Seat standards may differ in other countries.

Smoking is prohibited in all our cars.

Animals or pets are not allowed inside our cars. The only way to be allowed, is to use special boxes, such as those used in airplanes.

In case of the loss or damage of a key, the tenant must immediately inform drivelinerentals.gr in order to get a spare key. The cost is paid by the customer.

Administrative Sanctions resulting from traffic violations committed during the rental period of the car are fully borne by the tenant and the company must be informed immediately.

The customer expressly agrees to the following:

• Keep the vehicle in good condition
• Respect the Traffic Code
• Do not violate traffic lights or the STOP signal
• Respect the speed limits
• Do not drive off-road or on a dirt road (eg Balos beach)
• Do not drive under the influence of alcohol or any other substances
• Do not use the vehicle to tow another vehicle
• Do not perform activities for the purpose of subletting the vehicle
• Do not use the vehicle to participate in competitions or sports, either formal or informal
• Lock the car properly, in a suitable, appropriate and safe place when not in use
• Do not provide as collateral, pledge, sell, lease, assign, mortgage, lend or even change or convert any part of the vehicle
• Stop the car immediately in case of the slightest external or internal indication of technical weakness.
